In the mood for a colorful print dress I pulled out my well-loved, but not so well-documented ladybug print dress from T-Bags Los Angeles. Made from the softest rayon blend and oh so thin it is the perfect dress for scorching summer days. The colors in this dress remind me of the 60s or 70s and so does the print. I bought it a long time ago off Shopbop for 70% off, but I still love it just as much as the day I bought it. This time I wore it with a boyfriend blazer from Elizabeth and James. I think what makes this blazer look so good is the 3/4 length sleeves. It makes it a little bit more casual and less stiff. A gold bangle in an oval shape from Kristen Elspeth was on my wrist and on my feet I wore new Rochas platform sandals that are a throwback to decades past.
I really love all of the current shoes from Rochas. I bought these the day they showed up on Net-a-Porter, which was probably a couple months ago and I finally got to wear them. This is another reason I need a shoe shelf. You forget about your shoes when they are stuck in boxes. A new purse from Chloe rounded out the ensemble. This purse is probably the best purchase I have ever made. I rarely buy handbags as you know since I like to invest more in shoes, but I realized I was lacking a basic black handbag with gold trim in an intermediate size that could go with just about any outfit. I wanted something edgy, but that could still seamlessly fit in my wardrobe. The Chloe python paraty in a medium size was something I thought about for 6 months before taking the plunge. Now I can see why everyone loves Chloe bags. They have a fabulous design and are lightweight. I am going to be using this one almost every day.
