This outfit is almost entirely comprised of items you've seen me wearing before on Fashion Snag.  The only new item is the Vince army shirt, which I snagged on sale earlier this summer.  The Rag & Bone skinny corduroy pants were worn last with leopard ballet flats.  Somehow it seems that burgundy and leopard always get thrown together in my outfits.  Corduroy flares and skinnies are a great addition to your closet for fall and winter.  They offer warmth, color, and a great fit.  I would suggest starting off with a burgundy pair as cranberry is a color that goes well with many earth tones you might be sporting for winter.  It was only natural to pair these skinny pants with an olive colored cotton shirt.  Never underestimate the power of natural fabrics like cotton.  This shirt is so soft to the touch that it is difficult to believe it ever went on sale.  I tied it up to elongate my legs, but you could wear it open, belt it, or leave it untucked.  The possibilities are endless.

A cashmere infinity scarf is a basic item you should invest in for fall and winter as well.  It keeps you warm and a black one should go pretty far since it matches everything.  My Tibi shearling aviator jacket decided to come out of the closet again.  The bi-color tones of brown and black blend well with olive and burgundy.  No look is quite complete without a little bit of animal prowess so the Miu Miu leopard ankle boots took this ensemble from country to chic.  Liven up these shorter days by wearing your tallest and wildest boots.  You will feel better.
