I've been enjoying these 80 to 90 degree days in Colorado by wearing some tube dresses and in honor of the Missoni for Target craze I found this M Missoni tube dress bought on clearance at the beginning of the summer from Shopbop. Sometimes I like the M Missoni pieces better than the Missoni ones and this dress is no exception. It has a young, hip, and colorful vibe and the thin straps are just the icing on the cake. You can tuck the straps in to make the dress strapless as well. The pink and purple colors are reminiscent of the clothing I was attracted to in high school. M Missoni makes all their clothing in Italy and I like the fact that most of the pieces are quite durable despite their striking beauty. You don't have to worry about snags in the fabric because it is thicker and stronger than it looks. For some seventies glamour I wore my new Alkemie Jewelry peacock earrings. I am over the moon for Alkemie Jewelry because all their jewelry is eco-friendly and made out of reclaimed metal. Statement earrings are sometimes all you need to spice up a little dress along with some slingback heels. It is good to know that slingback pumps are having a comeback because there is something very feminine about the line they create. The peep-toe is a favorite of mine even though my toes never quite make it through there because my feet are not very narrow.
