It's the beginning of summer so it only seemed fitting to wear a white on white ensemble to celebrate.

A white on white look with hints of metallic and a pop of pink was just what the doctor ordered for such a fabulous evening of sushi and drinks on a warm summer's night. The outfit was inspired by these perforated leather shorts from Raoul that I snagged on sale. My favorite ribbed tank from Vince was worn on top. Metallic accents in the form of a bold cuff from Kristen Elspeth and a wallet from Comme des Garcons added a bold touch to the ensemble. When I snagged these Alaia sandals during the Net-a-Porter sale I knew I wanted to wear them with a frilly red dress. I looked in my closet and I couldn't find one so I had to improvise. I wanted to do the shoes justice, but at the same time I didn't want to take away from their beauty. I never met a pair of raffia shoes quite like these. They are insanely comfortable and also make you 6 inches taller. What could be better? An Equipment blouse in sangria and J Brand leather shorts came to the rescue. My favorite ribbed tank from Vince that everyone needs in their closet was utilized once again. It would be great to have a drawer full of Vince tanks since they are so soft and lightweight.
