I adore this outfit I put together. I was trying to find some way to utilize this leopard print Thayer camisole. The front never quite looked right on me so I decided to wear it backwards instead. What drew me to the top in the first place were the faux pearl buttons. I swoon at pearl buttons. I also wanted something to balance out the wildness of the leopard print and I am always thinking how I don't see too much pink in fashion blogs so I decided a soft pink cashmere knit would really do the trick. It literally "softens" the silk leopard print camisole in my eyes. I am also quite fond of the twisted back detail of the tunic. I liked the idea of toying with a third layer so adding this blazer which has a princess feel to the lapels seemed only natural. I then picked out my heeled moccasin boots. These boots are so comfortable and oh so pretty. They have subtle detailing and stitching and a witchy feel to them. I adore the heel and how it is attached to the body of the shoe. I wanted these Balmain boots or the longest time and I missed out on them when they first came out so when I saw them pop up on Outnet I did not have to think twice about buying them. Don't believe all the hype about labradoodles because as you can see by my shoes our dog Cruiser definitely sheds, but it isn't anything the lint roller can't fix. I wore my Danskin tights because I had to get some use out of them and I think they are my new favorite tights, very durable and opaque.
I was supposed to take ballet lessons last summer and I never found the time to go to them. Maybe a resolution for this year? I usually never make any resolutions. I update my 'Poodles and Pigs' page in the sidebar quite frequently and there are plenty of relaxing photos of animals to make you smile so check it out. Did you notice the lights? I got a comment saying that I need a better photographer so I told my boyfriend about it and he went out and bought these special lights. It really motivated him and I think he is really getting into his photography. Now if I can only get my posing down =)
I read each and every comment and I appreciate the fact that all of you take time out of your busy day to read my fashion blog.
xoxo
