Karina of Tea Leaf Clothing sent me this beautiful silk print dress by Tolani. It is my first experience with the brand and I find the silk to be pretty high quality. Jessica Alba likes to wear these tunic dresses at the beach as cover-ups. I think this ginger dress can be quite versatile, but I prefer to wear it as a mini dress with a little black belt. Every woman needs a black belt in her wardrobe and it took me quite a long time to find the perfect one. I snagged this Chloe belt at a Net-a-Porter sale last year and you can see me wearing it in different ways on Fashion Snag by clicking the links in the outfit description.
I really like the colors in this dress as they suit someone with my hair color so well. I played off the 60s vibe I was getting from the Tolani dress by pairing it with my Alexander Wang beatle boots. That is what I like to call them anyway. I find that the more I wear these ankle boots the more I love them and the more comfortable they are. The shape of the boots is unlike anything I've seen before in a shoe and I am happy to have them in my collection.
