A statement jacket can really take a basic look to the next level as can an amazing pair of shoes. In this look I added both. The jacket is a tweet motorcycle jacket that is so adorable over a plain black tank. Tight jeans and wedge ankle boots with chain detailing kept the look edgy while an elephant necklace added some charm. You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to see all my videos.
When I'm not riding my mountain bike I cruise around the neighborhood with my dog Cruiser on this Electra bike complete with stars. I've had a thing for stars for as far back as I can remember so this bike represents me in many ways. People are always super friendly when they see me on this bike and many times comment on what a cool looking bike it is. A bike like this just makes everybody smile. You may remember this bike from a shoot I did a couple years ago in Valentino floral heels. Cruiser follows me around everywhere. You can see more of him and Teddi, the toy poodle in the basket, on the Poodles & Pigs page.
This is what you wear around here in Denver when the sun is relentless and you want to feel at home. You also always need a pair of sunglasses, always.
On the hottest sunny days I sometimes just enjoy sitting in the sun and feeling the warmth on my back. The day I wore this ensemble was one of those days. Colorado has beautiful trees and parks and this one in particular is always empty, which is something I appreciate. I wore a very bohemian outfit consisting of a camisole top by Rebecca Taylor with Siwy denim shorts. On my feet I wore some suede fringe boots in a yellow color that is perfect for summer. Bright blue shades from Chanel contrasted pretty well with the boots, while the loose braid from the night before felt just right for a lazy day in the heat. Stacked gold bangles finished off the spring look. You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to see all my videos.
