It was a weird coincidence that in the video I said the shorts looked like something Picasso might have painted.

Check out my shorts in this video! It looks like Picasso went to work on them or something and they have an interesting detail in the back. You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to see all my videos.
Giuseppe Zanotti Pebbled Leather Ankle Boots in Black - Worn before here with Equipment shirt and Alice + Olivia leather shorts
Graham & Spencer Leather Skirt in White - Snagged off Shopbop.com for $350 Retail
Myne Johnny Cut Out Sleeveless Button Up in Indian - Snagged off RevolveClothing.com for $130 (Retail: $162)
This is a Native American inspired outfit I came up with using all new pieces for spring except for the Giuseppe Zanotti pebbled leather ankle boots. The ankle boots, which I like to call my cowboy boots, were bought last fall. They are very comfortable, but I love them so much I have only worn them twice. They are the perfect comfy boot. They also came in a glittery fabric version, which ultimately went on sale. I much prefer this pebbled leather version though as it goes with everything. I think I pretty much look like a cowgirl in these photos and I found the look to be very cute overall and different from my usual style.
I bought the white leather skirt off of Shopbop when it first popped up in the new arrivals section. I have been stocking up my closet with fresh new items for spring and when I saw it I was a little unsure because I rarely see white leather around. Who knows how I will keep this thing clean, but I do know that I adore it. It is a light, papery thin leather, but still high quality. I love the shape of it as well. I own another Graham & Spencer leather skirt that I wore last fall on the blog, but it has more of a mini skirt shape to it.
The Myne top was a Revolve Clothing snag and it was also in the new arrivals. I loved the print the most and of course the cut out in the back. It also has this neat hemline in the back like a little tail coat. The Southwestern vibe was just what I was going for with this outfit and I have been wearing my hair in this side ponytail nonstop. This outfit feels fresh for spring and summer with the white leather skirt.

Lucky Calico Cat T-Shirt in Pink - Bought a few years ago at Lucky Brand boutique in the mall
I am all ready for spring so I found the brightest skirt in my closet, which just happened to be pink and decided to try to dress it down a little bit. I wanted to pair it with a vintage looking tee and this Lucky Brand calico cat t-shirt was the closest thing I could find. I bought it at the mall a few years back because I love anything with a cat on it. It felt good using something older in my closet. At first I just had the skirt and top together, which made a pretty good match of bright pink and light pink. Then I decided that I would try adding this Chloe belt and attempt to twist it around like all the other bloggers. I really liked the end result. It still isn't quite warm enough here to go out without a jacket so I threw on this delicate knit Kimberly Ovitz cardigan. I love the detailing you can see through this thing.
The Myne skirt was a purchase last year when I was really into Myne clothing. It has a tulip shape to it and some ruching in the back. I have always loved this bright magenta color and I wanted to work it back into my wardrobe since bright colors seem to be trendy for spring. I wore a similar bright colored skirt by Myne in green here with Charlotte Olympia green pumps. Myne skirts are really feminine and girly. I have seen Audrina Patridge and Vanessa Hudgens rocking them. Back when I was in the mall a lot and I knew nothing about Shopbop and Net-a-Porter I picked up this Lucky tee with a cool cat on it. I don't like to throw many things away so it was still around and in very good condition since I am pretty compulsive with my laundry. I decided I wanted to do all pink and gave it a go with the skirt. I don't think there's been an all pink outfit I have loved more than this one.
This Chloe belt was a snag off of Net-a-Porter last year during their spring sale. I wore it once on my hips during the summer unbuckled. I think I was trying to start a trend or something, but it never took off. Oh well, I like to take risks. Anyway, everyone should have a basic black belt in their closet or maybe a bullet belt or two. Kimberly Ovitz is one of my favorite young designers and this Grinnell cardigan was a piece I had to have from her collection. A huge grandpa style cardigan with intricate knits and threading always fits into my wardrobe. Last but certainly not least are my Chanel clogs. I want to wear these things every day and I have to fight myself not to pair them with every outfit. They are comfortable and high. I think clogs can be deceptive because people think they would be uncofortable due to the heel, but it isn't true.

Giuseppe Zanotti Sculpted Platform Leopard Wedge Booties - Worn before here with Siwy madeline shorts
I wore all black again to show off these gorgeous Giuseppe Zanotti leopard wedges. Tops with shoulder cutouts have been on my mind and I snagged this shirt last spring for a pretty decent price. I like how Myne makes pieces in the nicest silk fabrics. These Siwy camilla shorts are perfection with all the studs around the waistband, sorta like a built in belt without the fuss. I noticed a really nice spot to take some photos, but decided to wear some slippers that happened to be in the car so I wouldn't get my shoes muddy. There was also some downhill walking involved and my boyfriend snapped a photo of me while I was changing back into my wedges. Bottom line is that these are still my favorite shoes at the moment!

Charlotte Olympia Margo Python Pumps in Green - Worn before here with Gryphon skirt
One of our last really beautiful days was captured in these photos. I wore my silk green skirt with pockets by Myne and a tank top with a zipper going down the back. Next time I wear this tank by LNA I will be sure to leave it slightly unzipped, but to show off the skirt I kept it fully zipped and tucked in. I was sent these beautiful sunglasses by Angel Eyewear. I swear that every time they send me sunglasses they are the perfect ones for my face shape or maybe all their sunglasses are just perfect. These rank among my favorite pairs. These bright green pumps by Charlotte Olympia are the apple of my eye though. They make me feel like a million bucks in any outfit. They are just so in your face green and that makes me smile every time I look at them. Believe it or not, there was a time when I didn't really like shoes all that much. In high school Vans sneakers were my favorite. I had a baby blue pair with white satin laces and a darker blue pair with normal laces. I wore them both into the ground. It's funny how things change even though you think they will stay the same forever.
