Lanvin Tote

I didn't think I'd get a chance to wear my perforated leather leggings with the 80 degree temps we've been having here in Denver, Colorado.

Cushnie et Ochs Perforated Leather Leggings

We are still having some colder nights here in Denver so I took advantage and wore my new perforated leather leggings from Cushnie et Ochs.  I will admit that I am a sucker for leather pants and leather leggings.  This pair in particular is so beautiful that the leather reminds me of well-made Italian driving gloves.  I cuffed them up because they are a little long, but they are perfect for spring since they are not too heavy with all the holes and thin fabric.  You do need to wear the proper undergarments for these so I tried out a pair of hot pants from Cosabella and they were perfect.  I wore the leather pants with a basic black tee from Kimberly Ovitz and red Sergio Rossi pumps for a sexy dash of color.  On top I wore a leopard print coat from By Malene Birger.  I think every woman needs a coat like this one.  A tote bag in navy blue and black from Lanvin completed the ensemble.  You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to see all my videos.

 

 

Shoe Talk Episode 7

 

This is a segment featuring some shoes from my closet.  It is the seventh episode and you may have seen the shoes before or they could possibly be a new 'never before seen' pair of shoes.  You can watch the first 6 episodes here. 

I am calling this segment "Shoe Talk" and in it you will find sizing tips, guidelines, and my own personal ramblings.  You will get a glimpse into my shoe closet without actually seeing it.  Three pairs of shoes are featured in each episode and they are taken out of the box on the video to get the full experience of shopping without actually spending any money. Michael Kors Bodysuit

All I want to wear are pumps so I pulled out this pair from Lanvin.  The asymmetric detailing and the curvy heel on these landed them a place in my top ten shoe list.

I am into sleek, simple looks lately, especially outfits that incorporate a bodysuit.  When I saw this Michael Kors bodysuit I was absolutely crazy about it.  The soft fabric, long sleeves, and easy snap closure makes it so easy to mix and match this piece with many others already in your closet.  I wore the black bodysuit with my reddish leather pants and some asymmetric pumps.  Since I kept the colors fairly muted I threw on this leopard print coat to top everything off.  You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to see all my videos.

I have been waiting so long to wear this 3.1 Phillip Lim leather motorcycle jacket.  As soon as the rain stopped I pulled it out of the closet.  It is the ultimate comfy biker jacket and it has a crazy snow leopard print on it.  Some places described the print as abstract Dalmation and cow as well.  It has lace-up detailing on the sides and I love that it ultimately looks like a vest due to the black leather sleeves.  At first my boyfriend was not too keen on this jacket, but I stood my ground and showed him how beautiful it could look.  We shot it indoors against the white backdrop a week ago when it was raining outside, but the background did not do it justice.  I knew it would look amazing against some green foliage.  I hope to wear this jacket a few more times before it gets too hot.  I own a black leather motorcycle jacket, but the white body of this jacket makes it a great alternative for spring.

These Lanvin pumps popped up on the Outnet in my size.  There was only one pair left and they looked pretty interesting and reminded me of my Jil Sander asymmetric sandals.  I bought them knowing I could return them if I wanted to because stuff sells out incredibly fast when it arrives on the Outnet website.  I did a Google search so I could see photos of the pumps on feet and I thought they looked amazing.  The shoe photo alone does not do them justice.  The cutouts really enlongate the leg and the curved metal heel is wicked to say the least.  I ended up getting an amazing deal on them and they arrived in perfect condition and are very comfortable.  I love how asymmetric they are as well.  You cannot beat eccentric black leather pumps.  They will go with everything.  The rest of my outfit consists of my favorite J Brand black skinny jeans and a black pocket tee.  These jeans are the perfect length and stretchy enough to be comfortable.  The Alexander Wang pocket top is a basic piece you need in your closet.  It is hard to believe, but I am having a hard time finding this same top in white.  It is sold out everywhere in white and black at the moment.
