This is a Native American inspired outfit I came up with using all new pieces for spring except for the Giuseppe Zanotti pebbled leather ankle boots.  The ankle boots, which I like to call my cowboy boots, were bought last fall.  They are very comfortable, but I love them so much I have only worn them twice.  They are the perfect comfy boot.  They also came in a glittery fabric version, which ultimately went on sale.  I much prefer this pebbled leather version though as it goes with everything.  I think I pretty much look like a cowgirl in these photos and I found the look to be very cute overall and different from my usual style.

I bought the white leather skirt off of Shopbop when it first popped up in the new arrivals section.  I have been stocking up my closet with fresh new items for spring and when I saw it I was a little unsure because I rarely see white leather around.  Who knows how I will keep this thing clean, but I do know that I adore it.  It is a light, papery thin leather, but still high quality.  I love the shape of it as well.  I own another Graham & Spencer leather skirt that I wore last fall on the blog, but it has more of a mini skirt shape to it. 

The Myne top was a Revolve Clothing snag and it was also in the new arrivals.  I loved the print the most and of course the cut out in the back.  It also has this neat hemline in the back like a little tail coat.  The Southwestern vibe was just what I was going for with this outfit and I have been wearing my hair in this side ponytail nonstop.  This outfit feels fresh for spring and summer with the white leather skirt.

My love affair with mohair sweaters continues!  I first saw this sweater on the Free People website styled over a floral piece and it looked really baggy.  It was love at first sight; however, the price tag left much to be desired so I waited around.  Soon enough Shopbop had this sweater in stock under a slightly different name and styled so the sweater looked much more fitted.  I learned from viewing this sweater on both websites that I definitely wanted it to look baggy so therefore I needed to size up one or a couple of sizes at least.  I think it was styled so badly on the Shopbop website that it landed itself in the 70% off sale section and that is when I pounced.  I bought it two sizes bigger than I normally would and I adore it.  The mohair is soft and not itchy and the holes are huge, but delicate and beautiful.  I think they have some left on the Free People website, but the price is much more than what I paid for it from Shopbop.

I paired it with my T by Alexander Wang ponte criss cross back bra.  I love this bra merely because I have an excuse to wear see through tops and not look as scandalous as I would with a lace bra.  As I have said before, I think T by Alexander Wang bras, especially this one, are the best bras I have come across in terms of comfort.  I love the velvet strap detailing and the criss cross back.  These Alexander Wang leather corset shorts are my favorite leather shorts of all time.  They are my go-to shorts when I am in a hurry because they go with everything and they are warm.  I try not to wear these too much on the blog, but the truth is that I want to wear them every day.  I tucked the Graham & Spencer sweater in the front of the shorts and left the back sorta hanging out.  I noticed a lot of bloggers doing this so I guess I picked up on it.  You really can change the look of many sweaters by tucking the front in and leaving the back hanging out.  Sometimes the bulky sweaters can hide your shape so half tucking is a good alternative.

These Camilla Skovgaard mules have to be the most comfortable shoes ever.  I say that about all her shoes, but it is true.  These slip right on and I got them for a steal on the Outnet.  You really can't go wrong with these because they are black and go with everything.  I will definitely be sporting these all summer long.  Also, the good thing about mules is they don't cut your legs off so if you want to look like you have longer legs these are good shoes to buy.  The tread soles are great for Colorado streets as well.

This bark colored suede skirt by Graham & Spencer is beautiful for fall.  When I originally bought it in June it was way too hot to wear it.  I paired it with a Helmut Lang cropped sweater and Elizabeth and James trench coat.  Rachel Bilson actually owns this Elizabeth and James field trench in the same luggage color.  Don't you love coolspotters.com?  Whenever I am looking at a pair of shoes or item of clothing I check it out to see if I can find celebrity modeling shots.  When I envision fall I think of the shades in this outfit, subdued and earthy.  The skirt actually glows a little in the sunlight.  I like the texture of the skirt and the uneven coloring of the suede.  It adds to its character and charm.  Last fall I pined for these Brian Atwood miri ankle boots on Net-a-Porter and much to my delight they ended up on the Outnet complete with a steep discount.
