I was feeling a little like Sharon Tate in this ensemble.
As soon as I saw these Chanel sandals with beautiful black and white detailing on the platform I knew they had to be in my closet. They have that late 60s/early 70s feel. I went with that era when assembling this look and I even applied some eye makeup in an attempt to emulate Sharon Tate's style. This Elkin lace babydoll dress is a piece I think fits in with that era and also a dress that Sharon would have worn. You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to see all my videos.
The shoes are a personal choice, but since I was going for that western mountain look Balmain quickly solved the problem.
These vintage inspired boots are great for when you want to step off the runway and frolic in the fields near a lake.

My love for Elkin continues with my recent purchase of their rosemary dress. This dress is oh so short and basically a baby doll dress. I like a short dress that borderlines on being a top. This Elkin dress features leather lace-up detailing under the arms and a hook and eye closure on the back. The fabric itself is a mixture of silk and rayon making it very soft. All I wanted to do was spin around in it all day long. I get a lot of questions regarding what I wear underneath my lace bell flare pants and other short dresses or see through pants. I wear little tiny bike shorts like the ones you see here from Cosabella. I think you get a glimpse of them in only one photo. Anyway, they make things a little more comfortable in case there is a strong gust of wind or something. Plus, many beautiful pieces of clothing are see through nowadays so it is nice to have these shorts for those instances. They are made in Italy, very soft, and will only cost you around $25. I bought them in nude as well for white silky things. They aren't going to suck you in or anything, but they will make you feel more comfortable in a short dress.
I wore my big bug eye Chanel sunglasses in this vibrant blue color. I love these sunglasses so much. My boyfriend bought them for me on our last trip to Las Vegas. I am hoping to get another pair on our next trip. Sunglasses are something I never order online because you have to try them on in person. These Prada suede ankle strap platform sandals were made to be with all kinds of baby doll and tent-like dresses. They elongate the leg and are very comfortable. The cone heels make them stand out from other suede plaforms by Prada.
