Besides the knit Erin Wasson X RVCA romper I snagged a couple posts ago, I also managed to grab these knit M Missoni Hot Pants that had been on my Shopbop wish list for way too long.  As soon as they got marked down to 30% off I snagged them and I had to resist getting them in the black color as well.  Something new always comes along so no need for doubles on the knitwear, right?  Their made in Italy label more than exceeded my expectations and might even extend my love for Italian goods beyond footwear.  They are beautiful, thick, and well made shorts.  They are also very short, but it was 97 degrees when these photos were taken so it was all explainable.  I wanted to keep the attention on the shorts so I pulled out one of my sheer KAIN Label pocket tanks and haphazardly tucked it into the knit shorts.  I am on a roll with the Cynthia Vincent footwear, all of which I acquired on Gilt Group.  Gilt is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine.  These wedges have been seen on many celebs including Vanessa Hudgens and Kristin Cavallari.  I like that they just have one easy zipper down the center and I don't have to mess around with the buckles.  This is one of my favorite gold bangles by DANNIJO.  I have some strange addiction to anything mesh and must watch myself because I will buy the same item in different form over and over.  These earrings have been around the world.  I take them on every Caribbean vacation we go on and they always seem to fill the status quo for each island-y dress I wear.  In other news, I think the pizza place we used to order from is going to go out of business because we are now making homemade tomato pesto pizzas and loving every minute of it.

This is my first outfit with the Charlotte Olympia suede leaf boots, which are actually quite comfortable due to the platform.  I thought the lace skirt detailing complemented the leaf detailing on the shoes.  This BB Dakota skirt is actually one of my favorite skirts and it wasn't that expensive.  I think it is pretty well made and it fits me perfectly.  It is on sale at Karmaloop right now with a few sizes left if you are interested.  I paid full price, but it was definitely worth it.  I have a few other things from BB Dakota that I will debut on the blog soon.  I paired my skirt with this Topshop cropped tank that I bought brand new from Rumi Neely of Fashiontoast for $28.  I can tell I am going to be wearing this top a lot this summer since it is so sheer and lightweight.  The heels have some gold-tone studs on the front so I pulled out this Dannijo cascading necklace to match them.  I think these shoes would also look great with an emerald green outfit.  We didn't get a photo of it this time, but the shoes have a gold spider web emblem on the bottom.  The shoe box they came in also has a spider web on the lid.  I think I will be buying more shoes from Charlotte Olympia in the future.

In other news, we have been biking a lot so I have a little tan in these photos even though I wear SPF 85.  I am addicted to homemade banana muffins and we have managed to munch through two batches already.  The blue vase in these photos was snagged off Gilt Group Home.  Isn't it beautiful?  My studded chest I ordered months ago was finally delivered today and I am in love with it.  I will do a shoot with it soon because I think it will match my Miu Miu studded boots perfectly!

This garden was a labor of love.  The boy and I planted all this ourselves, mostly from seedlings.   I wish we had gotten more photos of it when it was in fine, lush form.  I am going to miss it.  The pigs love the fresh romaine, carrots,parsley, and kale.  It was a great idea to put a black cover over our garden to prevent weeds and then just make holes for each crop.  No weeding necessary!  Tonight we made zucchini bread with some of the zucchini from the garden.
