(Avon Earrings, Urban Outfitters Choker, Onecklace Necklace, Truly Madly Deeply Top, Givenchy Bag, H&M Skirt, Ettika Bracelet, Chanel Sandals)

Here I am in one of my favorite looks for the summer, the button down skirt and crop top combo.  I love the baby blue color of this skirt.  The best part is I snagged it at a local H&M for under $25.  You can't beat that.  The fit and quality is better than most high end designer skirts I wear that gape at the waist and never fit quite right.  I paired it with the softest cropped white tee that is under $10 and some nineties flatform sandals.  The choker is under $10 as well.  It is a cute ensemble that features new affordable items mixed with old favorites of mine.

(Chanel Sunglasses, American Eagle Earrings, Vintage Pearl Necklace, Kimchi Blue Dress, GemLark Bracelet, Gucci Bag and Sandals)

I felt so beautiful in this dress and it is under $40!  Can you believe it?  What a great snag.  It reminds me of a dress from out of that movie The Notebook.  There is something really refreshing about dressing in a retro 1940s style dress.  I know maybe this dress would have been a bit longer back then, but I like to think of this as an updated 1940s look for 2016.  This dress also has a very flattering fit.  I paired it with this handmade and delicate butterfly bracelet which is under $30 and my 1940s inspired platform Gucci pumps.  My favorite shoes at the moment are these pumps.  I already have them in green, but I love them so much I bought them in this nude color as well.  You can't go wrong with platform pumps.  I added pearls to make the look even more ladylike.
