I've been wearing these soft jeans from Citizens of Humanity all week.  I like to dress them up a little bit by pairing them with pinstriped blazers and abstract silk tops.  On my feet are some harness ankle boots I recently snagged for a great discount and on my head is the softest cashmere hat.  To brighten up the ensemble I wore a colorful bag.  You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to see all my videos.

When I want to go out on a Sunday night and grab some sushi with my boyfriend I usually end up wearing an outfit similar to this one.  Every woman needs a comfortable pair of leather leggings and this pair from Current/Elliott fits the bill.  Paired with a soft, cotton henley in gray and tall, yet comfortable wedges in a wine color the outfit is casual, yet still very chic and cool.  Add some fine gold jewelry like this hamsa necklace and arrow cuff and you will be sitting pretty all night while eating edamame.  You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to see all my videos.

These wedges are my first pair of Lanvin shoes and my first purchase of anything by Lanvin and I am beyond thrilled.  The story behind finding these is explained on the video as well if you don't feel like reading all my writing.  I was looking for the Lanvin puzzle peep toe wedges for spring 2011 when I came upon a most beautiful sight, a Nordstrom catalog photo of Coco Rocha wearing the fall 2010 Lanvin wedge booties.  These booties are very similar to the spring wedges, but in ankle boot form which is much more my style.  Apparently these were sold in a limited number of Nordstrom stores for a whopping $1400.  I thought there was no way I would find them to purchase, but I happened to be doing a Google search a few days later and someone was selling them on eBay starting at $549 in my size.  She had a perfect feedback score with over 850 sales and she said the shoes were brand new.  I could either buy them now for $649 or wait and bid starting at $549.  Well, a few minutes before the auction ended I bid $549 and no one else did so they came home to me.  The leather is beautiful and has that pebbled look I love, but what is more interesting is the puzzle piece feature of the wedge.  Needless to say, this has now started a love affair with Lanvin footwear so I might still be on the prowl for some spring 2011 wedges.

I wore the Lanvin puzzle piece platform wedges with some Helmut Lang leather and jersey leggings that I snagged off Gilt Groupe.  You have already seen me in the Helmut Lang seamed leather leggings, but these have jersey for the backside and I think I like them even more for that reason alone.  The stretch factor on these is perfect and they are very comfortable to wear.  Out of all the leather leggings I have seen, worn, and tried on so far I do believe Helmut Lang leather leggings are the highest quality so if you can snag a pair on sale you should definitely take the plunge.  I kept the look casual with an LnA outside in tee.  I like this tee because it has a cute seam detail going down the front and a double set of pockets.  The raw v-neck hem also adds to the comfort of the tee.  Nicole Richie was seen sporting this LnA top around town and you can find it at Tea Leaf Clothing.  For jewelry I wore a vintage wrap cuff in black and gold that hasn't left my wrist all week and a gold diamond hamsa necklace.

My boyfriend and I took these photos just before heading out of the house on one of the warmest days yet here in Denver.  I wore my new Rock & Republic alicia ankle boots.  These had just come in the mail and I could not wait to rip the box open.  I snagged them off of RueLaLa for such a low price during a recent sale.  Rock & Republic used to make their shoes in Italy, but now they are made in China.  I find the quality to still be very good, but the shoes are a little lighter than some of my Italian made ankle boots.  The price was right and I think they are so edgy and comfortable.  They have a leather cap toe and then more leather around the ankle and the rest is suede.  These also come in gray suede.  I haven't seen them around anywhere else for the same price I paid, but if you do some google searches these booties are still up for sale.  The zipper is a dagger, which I think makes the wedge unique.  You should join Rue La La if you haven't done so yet because the final sales are fabulous.

I wore my new wedges with a Spring & Clifton mini skirt.  I call this my jailbird skirt.  It is short and has black and white stripes and frankly I call it as I see it.  Spring & Clifton calls this a rumour mini skirt.  I guess we will have to compromise.  This was my first Spring & Clifton purchase and the quality is very good.  I saw the skirt pop up in the new arrivals section at Revolve Clothing and I am a sucker for a stretchy, body-comforming knit mini skirt so I snagged it immediately.  Stripes are always in and especially for summer.  The skirt is pretty thick and well-made so I will be watching for more things from Spring & Clifton in the future.

I wore the jailbird striped skirt with an LnA swing tank that Karina from Tea Leaf Clothing sent me.  This tank is best paired with a form-fitting bottom to really accentuate the hemline.  I really liked how it looked with the striped mini.  It is a basic top to have in your closet for summer and the jersey material is very soft against the skin.  For jewelry, I wore a vintage stone bracelet that hasn't come off my wrist all week and a CEEK jewelry hamsa diamond necklace in gold.
