This is probably my favorite combination, a high waisted fitted skirt and a crop top.  I have always had a thing for cropped pieces for as long as I can remember, especially cropped sweaters.  Since I own a lot of them I am used to doing the whole shirt underneath layering thing with them.  I was bored of that so I decided to go wild and wear the cropped sweater on its own with my trusty T by Alexander Wang bra top underneath of course.  Rag & Bone has really been making me happy lately and I snagged this off Shopbop as soon as it went on sale.  I love the print on this sweater and how fuzzy it appears.  It isn't itchy and the colors are fantastic.  They even go with my nifty Avon necklace that I am wearing yet again. 

Paige Black Label makes some great pieces.  I own a dress and a top by them as well as this seamed pencil skirt that fits flawlessly.  You can usually find Paige Black Label for sale on Gilt Groupe or HauteLook so I always try to buy pieces then.  This skirt is thicker than it looks and the seam detailing runs along the front and the back of the skirt.  I really enjoy pencil skirts, but it seems like not that many people wear them.  I find them to be very elegant, timeless, and flattering in a low-key way. 

The Fendi wedges were a fabulous snag from the Outnet last year.  They came in other colors and a plastic version as well, but this was my favorite.  I like the suede and mesh combination and they are extremely comfortable.  The shiny platform adds a bit of edginess to the whole look.

This is my dream leather dress! It looks vintage, but is brand new by Vince.  The tan leather is soft and it has pockets.  Doesn't it look like something out of the 60s?  Anyway, as soon as it popped up on Revolve Clothing I knew I had to have it even though there was no discount.  I had a feeling it would be selling out because it is so darn cute.  Sure enough, it is selling out at both Shopbop and Revolve Clothing.  I cannot wait to wear it without any tights on my legs and my huge owl necklace and maybe even my Jessica Simpson dany platforms, but for now the tights and wedges will have to suffice.  I think the dress is the perfect color and the jumper shape makes it easy to slip on and wear.  It has one zipper going down the back as well.  I have really been into Vince sweaters for a long time, but now I feel my love for Vince clothing growing even more.  Who knew they could make such a sweet leather dress?  I feel like a mod queen in this get-up.  I will definitely keep my eyes peeled for more leather items from Vince.

The dress seemed to go so perfectly with these Camilla Skovgaard wedge mules.  They had a little bit of tan color in the platform which seemed to match the color of the dress.  I got these for 70% off on Shopbop so they were a steal.  They feel like sneakers because they have tons of soft, cushiony padding.  In short, I love them.  Plus, they have some cool shaved black pony hair thing going on and you all know how much I like my pony hair shoes.  I am liking mules more and more for their easy on, easy off capabilities.  These are shoes I could actually wear all day long with no aches or pains.  Camilla Skovgaard has won me over once again and I like how her shoes always go on sale so I can snag most of them.  My Avon necklace has been around my neck for weeks so here it is yet again and it goes perfectly with this dress as well.  I swear, that necklace matches everything.  Anyway, I hope you enjoy my mod 60s look as much I loved wearing it.

I wanted this Alexander Wang lace shirt for as long as I can remember, but the price tag left a sour taste in my mouth.  I didn't know why it was priced so high.  Finally, Shopbop marked it down to a somewhat reasonable price for me and they had one left in my size so I snagged it.  When I pulled it out of the package I knew exactly why it was so expensive. The felt sleeves are really heavy and the lace is intricate and detailed, yet very strong.  I really like how the sleeves are longer than my arms because that rarely happens.  I feel like a kid playing dress up when I wear this shirt.  Anyway, I don't think this shirt will ever snag.  It is one of those items that looks delicate from afar, but up close you can tell it is made really well.  The felt details are what I fell for as they are what makes this lace shirt stand out from a million other lace shirts.  Plus, the seam details on the shirt nip in around your waist, which makes it very flattering.  Underneath the lace shirt I had to wear the T by Alexander Wang ponte criss cross bra.  I really like the two pieces together.  I can tell my closet is being taken over by Alexander Wang, but I consider that to be a good thing and I am not complaining.

I wore a Deep in Vogue black tulle skirt on the bottom.  This skirt is high waisted and very flattering due to the tulle.  I bought it from gruhche on Etsy.  I own many items from her store and they are all fantastic quality.  The skirt was only $35 as well, which is a real steal in my book.  As you can see, I didn't take this Avon peach stone pendant necklace off all week.  It  seemed to go with everything and I like the light pop of color it added to every outfit.  It was also a steal for around 20 dollars on eBay.  Last but certainly not least are the Miu Miu pumps.  These are leg elongators due to the 'v' in the front.  I cannot wait until it is warm enough to wear them without tights or leggings.  They are phenomenal and I can see why they sold out so fast.  Miu Miu usually never fails me in terms of their shoe collections.
