Turtleneck sweaters are the only things I want to wear right now.  I keep reaching for them again and again.  This one is especially fabulous due the chunky knit fabrication and cream color.  Pairing it with a deep red leather wrap skirt made for the perfect fall outfit.  Cutout ankle boots by one of my favorite designers and over the knee socks on top of opaque tights completed the ensemble.  You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to see all my videos.

This Winter Kate goldfield mini dress is yet another beautiful piece Karina from Tea Leaf Clothing sent me.  This dress reminds me of something out of the 90s and since I grew up in that era I am totally in love with it.  It has beautiful lace insets on the front and back around the shoulder area and a little keyhole opening in the back that has a one button closure.  It also has some buttons in the front, but you don't really have to use them at all.  It is a baby doll dress with an empire waist that flares out and I believe it is the perfect length.  I love dresses that are not too long or too short because they are perfect to pair with over the knee socks in the spring.  The floral print on this dress in particular is gorgeous because the bright florals are against a black background.  I am loving what Nicole Richie came up with for spring and I am sure I will be rocking this dress all summer long since the silk is so lightweight and comfortable.

I paired it with my ASOS over the knee socks because I love the look of a floral baby doll dress with socks.  It is cuter and edgier than just wearing tights I think.  I wore black over the knee socks to match with the black of the dress and then wore my gray suede Alaia wedges to contrast.  I think the gray in the wedges brings out some of the floral in the dress.  These wedges are quite the conversation starter and people always stare at me when I am wearing them.  It is like someone took a bite out of the back of them or something.  I like the ankle strap in combination with the socks as well.  Alaia shoes are expensive, but if you can get them on sale like I did they are very worth it.  I snagged these off the Outnet and I wore them before on Fashion Snag with black tights and leather shorts.  What I really like about Alaia shoes is that they are very sturdy and well made.  Some people think they are heavy, but that is what I like about them.  I have worn these in the gravel before and they made it through that.  Also, Alaia designs are always so innovative and different from anything else out there.
