Here is an outfit I wore incorporating various shades of cream and white on one of the last warm days in Denver, Colorado. This would be the perfect ensemble for a walk along the beach barefoot. You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to see all my videos.

There is nothing I like better than a simple t-shirt dress that you can dress up or dress down and as far as I am concerned this T by Alexander Wang classic long sleeve dress is just that. Last time I wore it on the blog was a long time ago, back when I first started blogging. I wore this wide Gucci waist belt that my boyfriend bought me at the Gucci boutique in Barcelona, Spain. I remember when I saw the belt I thought it was pretty cool because it had this mirrored piece on it. It reminded me of something an 80s Barbie would wear and anything Barbie might wear is good enough for me.
This time I wanted to do something a little different with it so I wore a low waisted belt from J. Crew. I love this belt, but even in the smallest size it is too big. I think it is supposed to be a waist belt too, which makes it even worse. I am still looking for one of those things to punch extra holes in belts. Anyway, I really love J. Crew for their belts. I look on the website about once a month to see what styles they offer. They had this leopard calf hair one last fall along with another thinner leopard calf hair belt I bought as well. The belts are very good quality and I have used the thin leopard belt a lot already. I brought this t-shirt dress to Vegas with me and wore it with my Alexander Wang leather corset shorts and my black Chanel pearl necklace, but I didn't get any photos that night. So as you can see this dress is priceless in terms of its versitality. You cannot go wrong owning a basic tee dress.
I have loved leather blazers since my early college days and I can still remember when my friend Heather and I both saw the same leather blazer marked down to an extremely low price at Express in the mall. The deal breaker was that it was in my size and I had the cash to buy it, but I still felt a little torn because I could tell she wanted it as well. It was the last one left though. After that I wore the hell out of it and when I moved here to Colorado it was left at my parents' house. When my parents came to visit they brought it down with them, but it was all dried up, probably because I wore it in the rain. My mom couldn't really understand why I wanted it, but I don't remember it looking quite so cracked. Well, now I was missing a beloved leather blazer from my wardrobe and when I saw this Anna Molinari one pop up on the Outnet for an unbelievable steal I knew I had to snag it. I think a black leather blazer is an essential classic in any woman's closet as you can throw it on with jeans or a dress. This one is made in Italy and I am very happy to have it. I wore this outfit to a friend's going away party at work. After I realized no one else was in all black I felt quite somber, but at least I had the leopard print going on to spice things up.

Fendi Tulle and Suede Platform Sandals in Black- Snagged off Barneys.com for $509 (Retail: $855)
See by Chloe Scalloped Silk-Satin Shorts - Snagged off Net-a-Porter.com for $194.14 (Retail: $295)
James Perse Long Tank in Black - Worn before here with Alaia platforms and here with Balmain boots
Anna Molinari Sheer Crochet Cardigan - Snagged off theOutnet.com for $256.50 (Retail: $855)
These See by Chloe scalloped shorts are the most comfortable bottoms I have ever worn. I like how they are supposed to look wrinkly because then I don't have to worry about steaming them. The Outnet had some Anna Molinari cardigans I really liked and this crochet one is delicate and feminine. It was my first time buying any of her designs and I will probably buy more in the future. I bought these Fendi butterfly sandals when I thought I wasn't going to be able to get the Fendi Cinderella ones. These turned out to be pretty comfortable so I ended up keeping both pairs. That is the problem with ordering things online. Even if something isn't your favorite, you end up keeping it because sometimes it is more of a hassle to return something. I like the way my feet look in these with the cutouts and sheer tulle and I consider them to be different enough from the Fendi Cinderella platforms.
In other news, I have been watching True Crime with Aphrodite Jones on the Investigation Discovery channel. Last night I watched three episodes in a row and I was up until one in the morning. The most interesting story involved a case in which a couple was found guilty and sent to prison for their dog attacking and killing a woman. I had never heard of the Presa Canario dog breed before I watched this show. She features some high profile cases, but offers new information and never before seen interviews with people related to the crimes.
