Crochet and lace shorts are everywhere so it is not surprising that they are the first pieces I pick out to wear in the morning. I had these Stone Cold Fox chickie bloomers in white and I photographed them last year on Fashion Snag, but I always wanted them in black as well. Planet Blue re-stocked with a ton of Stone Cold Fox items so as soon as I saw the chickie bloomers in black I snagged them because they were selling out so quickly. Stone Cold Fox makes such beautiful pieces and they are very high quality.
I wanted to do something different on top besides the usual loose tank top thing that is the norm so I took out my military colored satin Equipment blouse. I love the oversized fit of these blouses and something about army green in satin form really offsets the feminine crochet shorts. I tied the blouse up and rolled up the sleeves because it was 90 degrees out. Sometimes I get jealous of all the layering I see other people doing in other parts of the country, but as soon as it is summer in Denver it gets really hot so out come my short shorts and other scandalous apparel.
It is embarrassing to see how many Equipment blouses I own now. I keep collecting more and I wear the heck out of them. They are such great basics. For shoes I wore my Ann Demeulemeester sandals that are part sexy, part utilitarian looking. I have to say that Ann Demeulemeester makes some of the most comfortable Italian shoes I have ever worn. I feel bad that I didn't get more wear out of these last year, but I hope to make up for it this summer. They aren't narrow in the slightest and the heel is the perfect height. I like everything about this sandal. It is one of those shoes you have to see in person and put on your feet to truly appreciate. I wore my large Chanel camelia hoop earrings that my boyfriend bought me in Las Vegas. I cannot wait until my next Vegas trip in August.
We are experimenting with video more and more so see me in action in this outfit set to some music.
xoxo
