Emerald green is one of my favorite colors so as soon as I saw this Alexander Wang turtleneck on sale for almost 60% off I was smitten. It is difficult to resist the allure of discounted pieces on The Outnet. Some of you might remember the sparkly pencil skirt I wore a few posts back. I snagged that piece off The Outnet at the same time and both pieces are by Alexander Wang. I have liked and worn a lot of his stuff for years. You can see me wearing the pencil skirt here. Both pieces feature metallic fabric that brightens up dreary winter days.
I decided to play with textures a bit and mix this metallic fabric turtleneck with an Alexander Wang calf hair and leather trim skirt. This skirt was also a snag off The Outnet for 60% off. I was looking for a black skirt like this for a long time. It is definitely short, but nothing some opaque tights can't fix in the winter.
On my feet are one of my favorite pairs of pumps that I wear quite frequently. They are Saint Laurent platform patent pumps and I cannot begin to tell you how comfortable they are for all day wear. I love a classic pump. It never really goes out of style and the platform gives me some added height. These pumps run true to size.
I finished off the look with a Givenchy croc-embossed leather clutch. Some of you might remember this clutch from a couple years ago. It is an old favorite of mine. You can see me wearing it with a cape here and with a red skirt here. I love how the croc leather adds yet another texture to the entire ensemble.
A metallic pencil skirt is perfect for this time of year. Pair it with a knit crop top and black patent platform pumps. Finish off the ensemble with a little black bag. Shop the entire look below. You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to see all my videos.
Here I am wearing one of my favorite combinations, a fitted knit skirt with a crop top. Like the saying goes, if it ain't broke don't fix it. This look works for me every time and I always feel like myself in it. I snagged this Alexander Wang metallic skirt off The Outnet for 55% off. It has the perfect fit and I just love how the side zipper makes it easy to slip into and out of. It is definitely high quality material as well. I find so many great deals on The Outnet. This skirt has a silver metallic sheen to it and I always fall for this type of fabric. Both the color and the fabric are great for this time of year. The skirt would look just as fabulous with black opaque tights.
I paired the skirt with a super soft knit ribbed crop top. This Theory top is a silk and alpaca blend which is a really soft fabric combination. It doesn't lose its shape either. The top has a rounded hem in the back and a square hem in the front making it have a unique asymmetric hemline altogether. This gives it an edgy appeal. The top is now on sale for 30% off here so be sure to snag it quickly if you are interested in purchasing it.
On my arm is a Chanel wallet on a chain. Some of you might remember seeing me wear it here with Rag & Bone leather shorts and a colorful Equipment silk blouse. Every woman needs a little bag like this one. The pebbled leather makes it very durable and it fits only the essentials. You could also wear this bag cross body. I actually found this exact bag available in brand new condition right here.
On my feet are one of my favorite pairs of platform patent pumps. The last time I wore them was here with a fuzzy white sweater and denim leggings. They are so comfortable and give me that added height that I love. I think they add a dressed up feel to just about any ensemble. The Saint Laurent pumps are available here and they are classics.
