I am very happy with my first pair of Current/Elliott denim shorts. I picked out this leopard print pair with a boyfriend fit and they look fabulous with a black leather belt. I wore mine with a beachy white knit sweater from Vince, Givenchy sandals, and bracelets from The Brooklyn Bakery and Alex and Ani. For semi-sheer sweaters it helps to have an interesting bra like this asymmetric one from Helmut Lang. You always need a pair of sunglasses around here so as usual my Oliver Peoples were propped up on my head. You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to see all my videos.

Rag & Bone Swinton Bandage Mini in Black - Snagged off Rag-Bone.com for $149 (Retail: $220)
Alex and Ani Bead and Feather Bangles in Green - Snagged off Gilt.com and worn before here with Eugenia Kim floppy hat and Miu Miu studded ankle boots
Meet my new favorite miniskirt, the swinton. This Rag & Bone swinton bandage skirt is so soft due to a blend of alpaca and silk and the sale price wasn't really that bad. I love how easy it is to slip on due to the elastic knit fabric and it is pretty warm so I can pair it with a tank for spring. I bought the black version, but this skirt is also available in gray. Rag & Bone has really impressed me lately and I find myself constantly going back to check on their new arrivals. They have great quality clothes that seem to have a timelessness to them that I appreciate. If you are looking for a stretchy, no fuss black bandage skirt that won't make you itch then this would be the perfect one for you.
I paired my Rag & Bone mini with a bright melon bodice tank from LnA. This was part of my package of LnA goodies that Karina from Tea Leaf Clothing sent me. This melon color is fabulous for the bright color trends of spring 2011. It has some nifty pockets in the front that are shaped like little triangles. I like all the geometric seam detail going on in this tank and the bodice part is perfect for small busted girls like myself. I layered it over my T by Alexander Wang ponte criss cross bra top for an overall sporty look. I especially adore how the back of the tank looks combined with the criss cross bra straps. LnA makes some great high quality basics and they are one of my go-to brands when I need a t-shirt or tank. Luckily, Tea Leaf Clothing carries a wide variety of LnA pieces and they often have codes available for a certain percentage off if you follow them on Twitter. Be sure to stock up on some tanks for spring. I know I am!
It is difficult not to wear these Lanvin wedge ankle boots with absolutely everything. They are easy to slip on and comfortable despite the height. Plus, they go with everything since they are black. I am glad Lanvin continued the puzzle piece wedge concept for spring with their ankle strap tie peep toe wedges.

Alex and Ani Bead and Feather Bangles in Green - Snagged off Gilt.com for $65 (Retail: $170)
Eugenia Kim Honey Sunhat in Black - Worn before here with Alaia lace-up calf hair pumps and Adam sweater
I decided to bring some old world glamour to this LnA maxi dress by pairing it with this beautiful floppy Eugenia Kim sunhat. This was an expensive hat, but the quality is excellent so I am sure I will be able to use it for years to come. Eugenia Kim knows something about making cute, quality hats. I added some green bangles and my Miu Miu studded ankle boots. These are another pair of shoes I love to pair with long dresses and bell bottom pants.
Karina from Tea Leaf Clothing sent me this black tank maxi dress by LnA and out of all the pieces she sent this was my favorite. I like that it is black, long, and has the basic shape of a tank. The material is soft and comfortable for a warm, sunny day as well. I can see so many different ways of styling this LnA april dress. You could also belt it or put a cardigan or jacket over it. I wanted to make it somewhat sexy and dress it up a bit, but someone could always wear some flip flops with it to go down to the beach.
I paired it with my Eugenia Kim floppy honey sunhat that I snagged off Shopbop. This hat makes me feel like I came out of some old movie as soon as I put it on my head. I own another Eugenia Kim hat that is more of a winter piece, a leopard beret. I hope I can still wear it at some point before the temps warm up too much. For jewelry I wore my favorite new set of bangles by Alex and Ani that I snagged off of Gilt Groupe. I am now officially obsessed with the expandable bracelet sets by Alex and Ani. This bangle set consists of 3 bangles with green beads and a feather. I only bought one set of bangles as I wanted to see the quality. I have worn gold earrings by Alex and Ani last summer on the blog that I really love. Bangles can really do most of the accessorizing for an outfit if you let them and they are perfect for a girl like me who doesn't like to wear a lot of rings.
For shoes I wore my Miu Miu studded leather ankle boots. Whenever I look at these I feel happy because they are perfect for a bohemian look and that is what I am all about when you get down to it. The studding detail is somewhat whimsical and the pattern in which they put the studs is perfection. The quality for the price was just right and not too astronomical as compared to some other shoe designers. I like how the leather looks a bit rough and tumble as well so you don't have to worry about getting some dirt on the stiletto heel.

Oliver Peoples Coquette Tortoiseshell Sunglasses - Gift from Boyfriend
Besides the knit Erin Wasson X RVCA romper I snagged a couple posts ago, I also managed to grab these knit M Missoni Hot Pants that had been on my Shopbop wish list for way too long. As soon as they got marked down to 30% off I snagged them and I had to resist getting them in the black color as well. Something new always comes along so no need for doubles on the knitwear, right? Their made in Italy label more than exceeded my expectations and might even extend my love for Italian goods beyond footwear. They are beautiful, thick, and well made shorts. They are also very short, but it was 97 degrees when these photos were taken so it was all explainable. I wanted to keep the attention on the shorts so I pulled out one of my sheer KAIN Label pocket tanks and haphazardly tucked it into the knit shorts. I am on a roll with the Cynthia Vincent footwear, all of which I acquired on Gilt Group. Gilt is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine. These wedges have been seen on many celebs including Vanessa Hudgens and Kristin Cavallari. I like that they just have one easy zipper down the center and I don't have to mess around with the buckles. This is one of my favorite gold bangles by DANNIJO. I have some strange addiction to anything mesh and must watch myself because I will buy the same item in different form over and over. These earrings have been around the world. I take them on every Caribbean vacation we go on and they always seem to fill the status quo for each island-y dress I wear. In other news, I think the pizza place we used to order from is going to go out of business because we are now making homemade tomato pesto pizzas and loving every minute of it.
