A.L.C. Aimee Leather Skirt
Styling a preppy look with an edge is easy to do using pieces from your own closet. Start with a leather skirt of any color. Mine is a deep oxblood and has a fitted waist. Add a collared shirt or sweater on top and make sure you tuck it into the skirt. My shirt has a leather collar and leather cuffs because I love little details like that in my clothing. Wear opaque tights and some patent shoes of any kind. I am wearing some cutout patent ankle boots by Alaia. Add a leopard print clutch for that extra pop and some gold earrings. This is a clean classic denim look you can create from your own closet. All you need is a pair of statement shoes. I wore these gold striped wedges from Charlotte Olympia with cuffed jeans, a white button down, and a gold belt. Jumpsuit
Jumpsuits and rompers have always been items that I am extremely attracted to, perhaps due to the fact that they are a ready-made outfit. This navy blue jumpsuit reminds me of the 1970s in the cut and silhouette. When accessorized with a gold engraved cuff, gold earrings, and gold pumps, the jumpsuit comes alive as if on the dance floor. Add a leather embroidered black clutch or wallet and you are set.
