The weather this December has been very nice.  I wore this look out at night for a holiday party with tights, but during the day it was warm enough to wear the outfit without tights.  A red flared skirt is perfect for this time of year and I like my skirts high waisted so I can pair them with cropped cable sweaters.  An envelope clutch and knee high boots finished off the ensemble.  You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to see all my videos.

Plaid skirts are classic pieces in my opinion and perfect for this time of year.  This particular plaid skirt is a wrap skirt and high waisted, making it very flattering.  It is best to pair high waisted items like this skirt with cropped sweaters and tops in order to flatter your shape.  I paired the skirt with a cropped cable knit sweater in a beautiful cream color.  If you are sick of opaque tights try a sheer pair.  Quilted patent ankle boots that cut off below the ankle are both flattering and accent the plaid skirt.  A quilted bucket style bag with a chain strap completed the ensemble.  You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to see all my videos.

These pants are made in Italy and have leg elongating properties.

I'm really drawn to 1970s inspired outfits so when I saw these M Missoni pants I knew they would be perfect for those types of ensembles.  It is no secret that I am a huge fan of anything by Missoni, but these high waisted space dye pants are a dream.  They are stretchy, flattering, and the color blend is fabulous.  A bronze colored silk asymmetrical camisole and a linen rust colored blazer seemed to bring out some of the color in the pants.  Nude patent wedges from Giuseppe Zanotti finished off the look, while gold peacock earrings added some glamour.  You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to see all my videos.
