I get a lot of e-mails from Fashion Snag readers wanting to know what I wear when I am running errands. This is an example of something I would wear when going grocery shopping or taking my pets to the vet. The comfiest jeans I own are usually the flares or bell bottoms so I definitely wear those the most often when I am in a hurry. For a top I choose a soft basic tee that is comfortable. I usually throw on a tough parka style jacket of some sort and some basic black ankle boots. To still feel somewhat trendy and stylish I always add a little something extra in the accessories department such as jewelry or a hat. This time I wore an alpaca leopard print beret. I hope this video answers some of your questions and gives you an idea of how to be stylish even on those days when you don't have much time to get ready. Abercrombie & Fitch Ribbed Racer Back Tank in Turquoise
Chanel Classic Sunglasses in Brown - Worn before here with Fendi mary janes, here with Prada nude patent pumps, here with Alaia platforms, and here with Siwy jeans
This skirt caught my eye a few months ago and I waited until it went on sale to snag it. The bold geometric patterns and chunky yarn embroidery made it stand out from the rest of the mini skirts. I adore Gryphon skirts and I have worn a scalloped green one before on Fashion Snag encrusted with rhinestones. Both of my Gryphon skirts were made in India, which is why I think they look so unique. I like a good silk/cotton blend in fabrics and this skirt consists of just that mixture. This one is so colorful so I went along with that theme by pairing it with a basic ribbed tank from Abercrombie & Fitch. I live in these types of tanks all summer long when I am running errands. I have them in all the colors so I was happy to see that this turquoise one matched the Gryphon skirt perfectly. I am never afraid of matching items too much. I think you can have lots of fun with this skirt by pairing it with different color tops or even a different patterned top. I wore my Only Hearts coral lace bralette underneath. I've always liked coral/red and turquoise together. For shoes, I wore my current favorite pair of wedges by Givenchy. Some white Hawaiian stone earrings by Little Darling Designs completed the summer look. I think these are my favorite pair of earrings out of all the pieces Kori sent me, but it is difficult to decide.

Miu Miu Satin Daisy Print Clogs in Beige/Pink - Worn before here with Elkin jacket, here with LaRok LUXE silk shorts, and here with 3.1 Phillip Lim dress
Elkin Eyre Bodysuit in Clove - Snagged off Shopbop.com for $158 Retail
Siwy Camilla Cut Off Shorts in Come Away With Me - Worn before here with Miu Miu clogs and Elizabeth and James top and here with Alexander Wang mesh hoodie and Miu Miu harness ankle boots
Abercrombie & Fitch Embroidered Leather Belt in Brown - Worn before here with Erin Wasson X RVCA romper and Marni wedges
This is my third Elkin piece that I promised to show you, a silk bodysuit with lace ruffles. It has a vintage feel to it and I love the barely there green color. It is a little tricky with all the delicate buttons so it takes some work to get into in the morning, but other than that I am absolutely in love with it. I styled it with denim shorts for summer and a big brown belt. I cannot believe I am wearing my Siwy camilla shorts again. I am addicted, but at least these are a different color. Last time I wore them with some lace patterned tights and a black mesh hoodie for a goth look. I really like this embroidered brown leather belt from Abercrombie & Fitch. I bought it a long time ago back in Fargo and back then I didn't use it much, but now I see it is one of my best purchases. I don't even know if Abercrombie makes belts this well anymore, but this belt is very high quality. The Miu Miu clogs are the shoes I turn to in a hurry. I wonder where everyone is hiding their clogs from last spring because I am still totally into mine.

Winter Kate Condor Bed Jacket in Floral - Courtesy of TeaLeafClothing.com
J Brand 10" Ankle Skinny Jeans in Shadow - Snagged off Shopbop.com for $174 Retail
Abercrombie & Fitch Racerback Jersey Tank in Grey - Snagged off Abercrombie.com for $19.90 (Retail: $48)
Miu Miu Studded Leather Clogs in Black - Worn before here with Winter Kate Oakleaf Mini Dress
This outfit is one of my more casual looks and I have to say I was quite comfy in it. I took some J Brand skinny jeans that are the perfect length for me and mostly cotton and paired them with a soft jersey tank from Abercrombie & Fitch. To take the look to the next level I wore a Winter Kate silk chiffon floral cardigan that was so light and breezy I forgot I was wearing it. I then slipped on some comfy studded clogs by Miu Miu.
Karina from Tea Leaf Clothing sent me three different variations of the Winter Kate condor cardigan. You saw the mint lace condor with a Free People skirt and Charlotte Olympia pumps. This condor jacket has no lace, but instead a beautiful cream floral print against a black background. I always adore florals against black. This jacket will go with a lot of casual outfits, making them a little more dressy and that is just what I love about it. I think you could also pair it over a little lace dress for a more dressed up night look. I will be showing you the third version of the Winter Kate condor jacket later this week.
I wore it over an Abercrombie & Fitch jersey racerback tank. I have a lot of Abercrombie pieces because I really like the casual tanks and tees they carry. You can usually find a great sale online or in the store at any given time. I especially like their ribbed tanks in all the different colors. Now that I dress up more it is hard to incorporate Abercrombie pieces, but basic tanks never go out of style.
These J Brand skinny ankle jeans were a snag for full price off of Shopbop. They are selling out really fast. At the time I bought them I wanted a basic black skinny jean in the perfect length. I think it is a stretch to even call them jeans so they are perfect for a person like me who lives in black tights. They are lightweight as well so they would be easy to put in your suitcase for a trip. After I bought these I realized I still hadn't found the perfect black skinny pant that is an actual jean material, but as luck would have it Karina from Tea Leaf Clothing sent me a pair of Bleulab jeans that filled that void. I will be debuting the jeans soon here on Fashion Snag so stay tuned.

Alaia Patent-Leather Ankle Boots in Black - Snagged off theOutnet.com for $501.75 (Retail: $1115)
T by Alexander Wang Classic Mini Pocket Tee in Pebble - Snagged off Gilt.com for $49 (Retail: $75)
Geren Ford Wool Pleated Mini Skirt in Brown Plaid - Snagged off Gilt.com for $118 (Retail: $325)
Abercrombie & Fitch Knit Ear Flap Hat in Brown - Snagged off Abercrombie.com for $40 Retail
I've been pulling out all my wool skirts and I happened to find this one by Geren Ford with a cute plaid print. This is an older item in my closet that had never been worn. Any skirt with pockets is usually a winner in my book. I paired it with this T by Alexander Wang light gray pocket tee that I snagged off Gilt. Hats are something I used to overlook, but now I realize they can make all the difference in an outfit. I love hats with ear flaps, especially this one I got at Abercrombie. I think it is the kid in me who likes to pull on the long knit strings coming off the ear flaps. Little things tend to make me happy.
Something I really like mixing is brown and black so I paired the brown skirt and hat with these Alaia cut-out leather ankle boots that were snagged during an Alaia pop-up sale on the Outnet. You saw the gray suede cutout wedges I snagged at the same sale in an earlier post. These ankle boots are gorgeous and I had actually seen them on the Outnet earlier in the year and then magically all the Alaia stuff disappeared and I thought I had lost my chance to own them forever. However, a few months later I got a notice about the pop-up sale and I saw these in the promotional e-mail photo. I was ecstatic and I snagged them right away when the sale started. Alaia shoes are not as delicate as other designer shoes I own. They have a sturdiness and a toughness that is hard to describe, but that is why I like them so much. Colorado streets are not kind to designer shoes so Alaia shoes are the perfect solution.
