We took a quick trip to Nordstrom so I could pick up some new spring lipstick and nail polish from Chanel. It definitely brightened up this bleak day of running errands. I wore a skirt by Joie that is a few years old, but still a great closet staple thanks to the silk and cotton fabrication. What fabrics are used to make a piece of clothing is very important to me. My sweater is a cashmere crewneck from Equipment. I learned after all these years that I hate v-neck sweaters. The reason being is that I rarely layer anything underneath them and if I don't then my neck and chest get cold. The other reason I don't like them is because I don't have a lot going on up there so I don't need to emphasize my sternum. I think v-neck sweaters look great on women who are larger on top. If I could wear them I definitely would, but now I stick to the crewnecks so I am covered. Over my sweater I am wearing my second 3.1 Phillip Lim Jacket. The color of this one really is beautiful. On my feet are Thakoon booties from a couple seasons ago that are so comfortable to walk in.
