Perforated leather pieces never fail to catch my attention.  This skirt did not look so great on the model online, but in person it is amazing and it has a great fit.  The key with a skirt like this one is to make sure it fits at the waist.  You want it to sit at the waist and not the hips.  When online shopping if you see a skirt like this sitting on the hips of the model and you think it looks funny you should probably still give it a chance.  The retailer more than likely has the model in too large of a size and that causes the piece to look frumpy instead of chic.  The only reason you might want to wear a skirt like this on the hips is if you think it is too short for you.  In that case I would suggest finding a longer skirt of the same style and wearing it on your waist.  I've always liked the color combination of camel and red so I had to make that happen in this outfit by wearing my Christian Louboutin suede fringe ankle boots.  It is the best way to wear red without really having to wear red if you know what I mean.
