I get a lot of e-mails from readers asking about the nail polish I wear on my toes. I am not a beauty expert by any means. I should really paint my fingernails more often as well, but that is for another time. I just bought this beautiful new red color from Chanel called coromandel. I apply Sally Hansen Double Duty as both a base coat and a top coat. Because I am pretty impatient with my nails I use Nicole by OPI Drying Drops at the end to make my nails dry faster. I usually only do one coat of the colored nail polish just because I don't like to sit around doing my nails for very long. If it is a dark color one coat is usually good enough, but back in the day I used to do two coats. To keep my interest I bought these colorful toe separators. I also like to keep my iPad handy to entertain myself throughout the drying process with all the various coats of polish.
