Alaia Raffia Wedges

 

When I snagged these Alaia sandals during the Net-a-Porter sale I knew I wanted to wear them with a frilly red dress.  I looked in my closet and I couldn't find one so I had to improvise.  I wanted to do the shoes justice, but at the same time I didn't want to take away from their beauty.  I never met a pair of raffia shoes quite like these.  They are insanely comfortable and also make you 6 inches taller.  What could be better?  An Equipment blouse in sangria and J Brand leather shorts came to the rescue.  My favorite ribbed tank from Vince that everyone needs in their closet was utilized once again.  It would be great to have a drawer full of Vince tanks since they are so soft and lightweight.  Vintage gold jewelry in the form of fine chains, a watch, and a ring finished off the ensemble.  You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to see all my videos.

After lusting after these cotton animal print shorts from Tibi for quite some time and feeling terrible that I didn't snag them while they were still available, Shopbop re-stocked them in all sizes.

Once I put on these cheetah print shorts from Tibi I knew the perfect pair of shoes to bring out their best features, my patent leather Jimmy Choo wedges in red.  A silk Equipment blouse in white is an item every woman needs in her closet.  It goes with everything and you will find yourself reaching for 100% silk blouses like this one in the heat of the summer in order to keep cool.  A stack of bangles and an embossed clutch from Jimmy Choo completed the ensemble.  You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to see all my videos.

Jenni Kayne Lace Skirt Suit

 

Feeling pink lately so I slipped into a pink lace skirt suit from Jenni Kayne.  The double pocket lace top is actually a separate piece in the Jenni Kayne collection, but after seeing the model wear the two pieces together I thought I would give it a try.  I was lusting after the pink lace skirt because I am a sucker for any delicate lace pieces.  Since both the top and bottom are such vibrant colors they add a sweet injection of color into my wardrobe.  Ground in neutral accessories like my Sergio Rossi patent sandals with a pop of animal print via a Givenchy chain strap purse, the outfit really looked different from my usual style.  It is always fun to dress up a little more feminine so I went with the feeling and also wore Chanel pearl sunglasses.  You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to see all my videos.
