The next stop was the Jimmy Choo boutique where 4 years ago I bought the large saba bag that I still love today.
You knew I couldn't go to Chicago and just stick to work and business. I saved a few hours here and there to go shopping at some of the luxury boutiques. I scouted all of them out on the Internet so I knew the addresses. The first stop was Barneys New York where I finally got to see so many of the bags I had been looking at online in person. They had quite a variety of Celine bags, wallets, and pouches. I was drawn to the bi-color luggage tote. I thought the olive and green colors in it were perfect for my skin tone. I told myself that I wouldn't be interested in the Celine luggage tote since I had seen it everywhere, but there are so many color combinations and fabrications that it was easy to find one to love. This one has a zipper so everything stays put as well. I couldn't believe how good it looked with the outfit I was already wearing. It is a testament to how the colors in the tote will blend into my wardrobe pretty seamlessly.
The next stop was the Jimmy Choo boutique where 4 years ago I bought the large saba bag that I still love today. As always, the people in the boutique were so sweet and friendly. I tried on the cobalt blue patent pumps and some nude suede wedges before Stella brought over these red patent wedges. They are not a shoe I would usually go after, but as soon as I slipped them on I fell in love with the cherry red color. I don't have many shoes that look like this wedge and the price was pretty reasonable compared to a lot of other shoes I own. I cannot wait to wear these wedges with a nude polish on my toes for summer.
