We rarely get to take pictures in the morning, but on this day we were both up early to drop my guinea pig off at the veterinary office. I wore a pretty casual outfit with a killer leather sleeve jacket from Helmut Lang. Usually by the afternoon this bridge is swarming with people running or riding their bikes so it was nice to take photos here again. I think we took some at this location a couple years ago, but only a couple photos. It was slightly chilly, but not too cold so a jacket with leather sleeves was a great choice. You don't get too hot in this type of jacket because the body is all fabric, but it keeps your arms or extremeties pretty warm due to the leather sleeves. There are tons of choices out there of the leather sleeve variety so when looking for a jacket like this choose carefully and make sure it suits your shape. I prefer cropped jackets as they elongate the legs. The J Brand jeans feature button detailing near the ankle. I've always liked blue and white stripes against black pieces, especially black leather pieces. When looking for pieces to wear every day it is wise to invest in a couple striped tees similar to this one by StyleMint. You will wear them a lot with denim. The L.A.M.B. wedges have an interesting shape to them and are easy to take on and off.
