I had my eye on these colorblocked suede platforms from Giuseppe Zanotti and they did not disappoint when I opened the box.

I've always been wary of white dresses until I tried this one on by Kimberly Ovitz. Most of the time white dresses are see through and I am so over looking for something nude colored to put under pieces like that. It really lessens the overall quality of something if I have to go out of my way to make sure everyone doesn't see me naked. This dress is lined in a fabric that conceals your body and also is extra soft and comfortable. The cutout at the side is in exactly the right place in my book as well. The textured detailing and bodycon fit make this dress so much more than just a little white dress. An extra bonus is that this dress makes you look tan even when you are pale. I mean, I am really pale and look at how tan I look next to this dress. I love Kimberly Ovitz and all her designs, but this really took my love for her over the top. I cannot wait to wear this dress when I go to Las Vegas in June to see Celine.
To keep all the focus on the dress I paired it with a sleek, minimalistic looking cuff that you saw a few outfit posts back. I was always afraid to get a silver cuff like this in fear of it tarnishing, but so far so good. You usually always see me in gold jewelry and that is the reason, but it is much easier for me to match silver to spring and summer outfits and it looks great against white. When you have a dress this white it is best to pull out your most colorful and your highest heels. After all, this is supposed to be a Vegas outfit. I had my eye on these colorblocked suede platforms from Giuseppe Zanotti and they did not disappoint when I opened the box. The blue is rich and vibrant and the swirly design makes my wide feet look pretty damn good. Since the platform is thick the shoes are comfortable and walkable. I definitely prefer colorblocking on shoes more than I do in clothing and ensembles.
