This outfit was all about making a skirt that seems appropriate for the office perfect for a night out on the town. Tweed skirts and jackets are classics and often times they conjure up images of the ultimate tweed pieces designed by Chanel. The beautiful blend of pink, black, and gray in this skirt is what led me to purchase it, as well as an overwhelming affection for pencil skirts. Pencil skirts work well for women with hourglass figures and accentuate the waist and butt quite nicely. You see Kim Kardashian wearing them a lot and she looks good in them. I feel the same way about the pencil skirt. It is demure in length, but not in fit. This tweed one is not as form fitting as I had hoped, but the looseness works well for important work functions. There are endless possibilities for styling a tweed pencil skirt. A white button down makes it more appropriate for the office, but in the fashion blogging realm a sheer black silk chiffon shirt seems best.
