Plaid items have been accumulating in my closet and in my eyes they are always in style. Plaid pieces are classic and when cut in an A line shape they will be sure to fit you for a long time. This skirt was a killer piece from the Opening Ceremony fall collection. The cut and color is pretty much perfection. Since it is high waisted I went for a cropped sweater in a cable knit texture. Cropped cable knits have also been taking over my closet lately. Patent quilted ankle boots that were a steal at under $200 and a quilted bag with beautiful chain detailing finished off the ensemble. Try out sheer tights if you are sick of wearing opaque ones. They allow you to show off some leg, but still keep warm.
