Stars have represented a huge portion of my life. To me they represent dreams and the promise of something better. For my high school graduation I wore star jewelry and my mom even decorated my cake with stars. I used to draw stars on everything. Perhaps it was the result of living in such a small town in North Dakota and feeling like I never quite fit in there. I didn't hunt like everyone else. Even the women went hunting sometimes. I also never drank alcohol and really had no interest in it. I am pretty much the same today. Sports were huge in my town as well and I was more interested in music and books. I stayed true to who I was back then just as I do today. The stars have not led me astray. Now that I am older I replaced my childhood star jewelry from Claire's with the Chanel jewelry my boyfriend bought me on special occasions. I was drawn to this star print blouse immediately and the shoes that seemed to complement the star theme were these glitter Miu Miu booties.
