Balmain Leopard Belt in Sand
Utilizing the same white silk mandarin collar blouse by Elizabeth and James as in the last post, I styled it in a completely different way. This outfit is for more of a casual look you could wear out with your friends to brunch or even out with your boyfriend to lunch. A white button down silk blouse can go pretty far in your wardrobe. A basic black pair of jeans can also do the same for you. This pair by J Brand is the perfect length. To re-create this look you need to make sure your jeans are not too long. I rolled these up twice to get the cuffed look. These jeans are also pretty thin, almost like leggings. If they are too long or thick the rolling could look too bulky.
Add a statement belt to the look. It could be any hip belt that you own, but one with gold accents or leopard print would be the best to make a black and white outfit really stand out. This one is by Balmain and it combines gold hardware and leopard. A tad on the heavy side, but I suffer for fashion more often than I admit. At least this one isn't as heavy as my Balmain bullet belt. Ankle strap platform booties of any sort in a black suede will work for shoes. The ankle strap of the shoes really stands out when you cuff your jeans ever so slightly and that is what is so nice about this look. It took little effort and looks casual, but you still look chic and put together like you didn't just roll out of bed. For the last touch add a black clutch with gold hardware. I picked my new Givenchy clutch yet again. You will probably be seeing this one a lot as I am really in love with it. Any pieces I love I tend to wear over and over in different ways as you can see on Fashion Snag. If you want to re-create this look using silver hardware detailing you can do that too. I kept with the gold hardware theme to match the belt, the clutch, and the gold zipper and buckle on the Prada booties.
