The shoes are a personal choice, but since I was going for that western mountain look Balmain quickly solved the problem.

Balmain Western Buckle Boots in Black
On the second day of being snowed in I played dress up yet again and styled a mountain glamour look that you might see a woman in Aspen, Colorado wearing. You can start with a basic slim fitting black dress with a slightly longer hemline for that film star look. This dress by Elkin cuts right across mid-calf and to be honest I think it would look better if it was slightly longer to skim your ankles. Layer a faux fur vest over top of the little black dress. If I was going outside I would have just worn a huge faux fur coat, but I was staying in so I stuck with the vest. Then you can layer a bunch of necklaces together. I stuck with one necklace that has multiple strands of pearls. It is by R.J. Graziano and it was snagged for a very low price off of Gilt Groupe. I like to get costume jewelry off of Gilt Groupe since the sales are pretty good. You could also layer rhinestone necklaces and other colorful jewels to really add lots of glamour. The shoes are a personal choice, but since I was going for that western mountain look Balmain quickly solved the problem. These suede western boots feature perfect buckles that embody a cowboy feel. I guess these were the alternative boots to the ever so popular Balmain buckle boots. I like both pairs, but this pair especially reminds me of Colorado.
