Alaia Sandals

DSC_8034

For accessories I wore these red sandals from Alaia that I snagged off The Outnet earlier this year.  A slew of celebrities were seen sporting these over the years in various colors.

Alaia Cutout Leather Sandals in Red

Mason by Michelle Mason Lace Shorts in Black

Kimberly Ovitz McGinley Sweater Tank in Stone

Jimmy Choo Tallys Fringed Bag in Black

Oliver Peoples Casella Sunglasses in Black - Last seen here with Dolce & Gabbana metallic wedges and Dallin Chase sequin shorts

This outfit came together pretty randomly and sometimes I think that is the way to create the best ensembles.  I have been waiting all summer for it to get just a tiny bit cooler so I could wear this Kimberly Ovitz sweater tank.  I love love love Kimberly Ovitz.  Every collection has me wanting more.  She creates basics with an edge and this sweater tank definitely stands out due to its asymmetrical hemline.  I also like the light blue color and how soft it is against my skin.  I like how the hem is flapping in the wind in these photos as well.  You can always find some good wind in the Denver Tech Center.

I went through some summer shorts I have been wanting to wear and I found these Mason by Michelle Mason lace shorts.  At first I wasn't sure of the black against the light blue, but I quickly grew to like the pairing.  These shorts have the most intricate and delicate hemline I have ever seen and they are insanely comfortable because they are lined in silk.  I pay attention to fabrics as much as possible.  I am not sure if I own anything else from Mason by Michelle Mason so as far as I know these shorts are my first piece.  I will definitely be checking out the line from now on though.

For accessories I wore these red sandals from Alaia that I snagged off The Outnet earlier this year.  A slew of celebrities were seen sporting these over the years in various colors.  They are pretty comfortable and I like the cutout detailing and zig-zag trim.  I like a bold colored sandal in my wardrobe because it spices up any outfit without much effort.  Staying true to my bohemian spirit I carried my Jimmy Choo fringed suede bag that was a gift from my boyfriend last summer.  I adore Jimmy Choo bags because they are always high quality and lined in suede.  This one even has some python trim detailing.  I have an arm orgy going on with all these bangles on my wrist.  The bangles were a fun addition in purple enamel and contrast well with the red colored sandals.
